Tai Chi is a gentle low-impact form of exercise that helps seniors improve their balance, stability, flexibility, and circulation. With Tai Chi, the slower you move, the better.  It also focuses on slowing your breath and can be used as a form of relaxation. You will need to be able to stand without the need of a prop (cane, walker, etc.,) We will have chairs available so that if you tire and need to take a break, you can.

June Young has been a member of Broad Street since 2009 and is a member of the advanced handbell choir. She is a clinical psychologist who currently does evaluations for the courts. She is an avid disc golfer. Fun Fact: She won a gold medal in the National Senior Games in 2017 in Birmingham, AL in volleyball.
