WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You’re invited to come as you are, whether it’s a suit or shorts you feel most comfortable wearing. Our members and attendees tend to dress pretty casual. In both our 8:30 & 10:45 Traditional Services people tend to dress more formal than either of our Contemporary services, but feel free to wear what you're most comfortable wearing. We would just love to see you here.

Parking

We have both lots on the Worth Street side of our building that can be used on Sunday mornings as well as the lot across the street by Joe Rodgers Office Supply Business.
During the week we share one of our lots with the city for downtown parking while the other is reserved for Broad Street guests, childcare drop off and pick up( CLC Program), and visits to our office and Wednesday evening G.P.S. program.

Nursery, Pre-School & Children's Worship

We strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Our volunteers have completed Safe Sanctuaries training, and we maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.

Children may stay with their parents in worship or go upstairs to Kid's Korner for children's worship. Our Pre-School worship is downstairs as is our nursery.

TRADITIONAL

At Broad Street United Methodist Church , worship is a central part of our life together. We gather together to worship God as a community in our recently restored historic sanctuary. Worshipers enjoy excellent traditions of beautiful classical music, timely liturgies/prayers, holy communion, baptism (all ages), and contemporary preaching. Our music is led by choirs of all ages, handbell choirs and pipe organ. Our hope is to experience the mystery and joy of God's presence so that we can go out into the world to share God's message of love, offering help, hope, and healing to others.

Contemporary

Welcome to the Connections Service!

Experience God through WORSHIP and WORD!  We seek to invite all people to become deeply committed Christians and learn how to offer help, hope and healing in the name of Jesus Christ by connecting to God, connecting with each other and discerning how to put our faith into action.

It is our prayer that you can join us on Sunday Mornings to feel the presence and power of God in your life!
