All four Sunday morning services will celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry to Jerusalem, with the waving of palm branches and singing, “Hosanna!, Hosanna, to the King!” All the children are invited to be a part of the Palm Sunday Procession!

You are invited to come and experience Jesus’ Last Supper in a deeply authentic way, in our sanctuary. We will all walk in the disciples’ shoes, as we partake the sacrament of Holy Communion as a community of believers
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE

Before we can fully receive the joy of the Resurrection on Easter, we must first walk with Jesus through the darkness of Good Friday. We will hear the story through scripture readings, hymns, anthems, and spiritual songs, as candles are extinguished and the sanctuary is progressively darkened. The service will end in silence, as the altar is stripped and draped in black to symbolize the death of Jesus on the cross.
Sunrise Service 6:30am breakfast, 7am service @ Johnston Woods, Hurt Lodge. Bring a breakfast food to share at 6:30am.
Traditional 8:30 & 10:45 Traditional Worship in the sanctuary will conclude with the singing of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus”

We are so happy to say we have over 450 pictures of members and constituents that were taken during February. Thank you for helping this happen. We are so thankful for Tara Brown, Kelly Seo, Lou Horner and Donna Spain who helped with this project. Now, we would to get those persons we missed. We feel like we should be able to reach 600. We will be taking picture in THE LINK and upstairs at the children's and youth check in booth beginning early Easter Sunday. Please help us reach our goal of over 600.

(So if you or someone else in the church will be 80+ years old by the end of this year, make sure that the church office has your birth date....we don’t want anyone to be left out!) THREE SIMPLE RULES STUDY FOR ADULTS
Starting on March 7th, we will offer a new 6-week study for Adults on Wednesday nights. We will focus on Ruben Job’s ‘Three Simple Rules: a Wesleyan Way of Life’. Together, we will deepen our understanding and practice of Christian faith. We will explore the rules of “Do No Harm,” “Do Good,” and “Stay in Love with God." The study will start at 6:00pm in Triplett Hall and be led by Jarrod Suits. Great opportunity for anyone looking for a Lenten/Easter Season Study. All adults are invited and even if you have done this study before, please come as we explore new topics related to the three rules.
"Friends in Christ" Unity Center Sunday
We are happy to celebrate the ministry of Unity Center this Sunday (March 4) during our worship services. Many of our students will be singing and several of our youth will be sharing about the ministry as seen "through the eyes of" different people. All of the Unity Center community would like to say thank you for the countless ways Broad Street supports this ever expanding outreach. The Unity Community doors are always open and there is a place for you because "we are God's family one and all!"

HONDURAS - The mission team of 11 leaves February 10, for a week in Morazan, Honduras. The primary goal is the installation of another clean water system in San Fernando, a small community of 190 houses, 800 people, two schools and two churches, one Catholic and one Protestant.

NIGHT TO SHINE
We are so excited to be a part of the Night to Shine event through the Tim Tebow foundation this year! This is an opportunity for people of all ages to come out and serve people with special needs within our community by giving them a prom night they will never forget!

The program includes larger works "The Peaceable Kingdom," by Randall Thompson to texts from the Book of Isaiah and "In the Beginning" to the text of the first two chapters of Genesis, featuring mezzo-soprano soloist, Kaylee Nichols.Conducted by Josh Golden

FALL FESTIVAL at Johnston Woods
October 29th Noon-4pm.
Join the entire Broad Street Family for a wonderful day at Johnston Woods. We are hosting a number of activities for everyone of all ages. Children can enjoy inflatable games, hay rides to our pumpkin patch, games and so much more!
For our adults there will be a live band and our 4th Annual Johnston Woods Auction. This yearly auction allows us to continue the great work of ministry these Woods provide for so many each year. We will be serving a BBQ lunch starting at noon and will end lunch around 1:30pm.

Maggie Copper from Asbury, Inc, Kingsport will be our guest. She will discuss problems of aging and how to deal with them, prevention of falls, exercise as we age, and other topics.
